263.93 MPH
Kelly Bise’s 2009 C6 Z06 Corvette is a purpose-built machine designed for extreme speed. Built by Kevin at M2K Motorsports, it holds the title of the world’s fastest LS-powered Corvette in the standing mile, reaching 263.93 MPH in September 2024. The following month, it hit 220.80 MPH in the half-mile, further proving its capability.
The car is powered by a 427ci LSX engine with a twin Precision turbo system, producing 3,000 horsepower. A 6-speed sequential transmission, air-shifted through Motec, delivers precise and efficient gear changes.
To handle the power, the Z06 is equipped with an RPM Stage 5 rear end with 3.15 gears. Fueling is managed by twin 260# injectors per cylinder, ensuring the engine receives the necessary fuel under extreme loads.
Kelly Bise’s Z06 is built for top-speed racing, setting records and pushing LS-powered Corvettes to new heights. With its combination of power, aerodynamics, and engineering, it stands as a benchmark in high-performance racing.
