Kelly Bise’s 2012 Corvette C6 Grand Sport started as a half-mile build but was later reconfigured for quarter-mile racing. Originally equipped with a 6-speed automatic and 3.15 rear gears, it was upgraded to a Turbo 400 transmission, a 9″ rear end with 3.00 gears, and a transbrake. Despite still running half-mile gearing, the car achieved a 7.97-second quarter-mile at 177 MPH.
Built by M2K Motorsports and tuned by Naoto, with power from a Borowski Race Engines setup, the car has been tested and refined at events like the Texas Speed Syndicate Quick 30. Driven by Eric Stubbs and supported by a dedicated team, it continues to improve with each pass.
